Running for CDA: Company race Thüringer Wald-Firmenlauf 2017
So many participants as never been before: a total of 4145 runners and Nordic walkers started on 23 August for the 8th race of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) of Southern Thuringia.
Under the motto »Die Wirtschaft im Thüringer Wald läuft« (The industry of the Thuringian Forest runs) a distance of 4.5 kilometer in the DKB Ski Arena located in Oberhof had to be overcome where over 6,500 runners and fans indulged in the "sportiest network party".
Among them were 23 CDA employees. The most successful female runner from our ranks was Anja Börner who secured an excellent 53th place. As a team we scored a great 10th place for the CDA women. Eugen Fischer was the most successful male runner on place 171 in the overall ranking. Among the fastest trainees were Jennifer Hönes on rank 5, Jonas Randel on rank 40.
